Batgirl by sleepy-comics Batgirl by sleepy-comics
Finally finished this piece. I wanted to draw a different character, so I tried Batgirl, someone I've never drawn before. I like how this one turned out. I definitely tried to focus on quality, everything from the line art to the coloring. I'm loving the style too.

She looks so good that she should put to sleep with a cloth treated in chloroform, then craddle carried by her kidnapper. That beautiful superheroine is just asking for it.Great image.

I really like this one!
Love the manga-style. I must say that the colors on her costume reminds me of the fake "Batgirl show" shown at the end of the Batman: The brave and the bold-episode "Mitefall".

Glad you like it. I like bringing my own style to characters. Haven't seen the new Batman show. Is it good?

It depends actually. If you like the classic "Batman: The Animated Series" and the rest of the DCAU-sequels, you might think that "The Brave and The Bold" is a bit too campy.

If you asked me before Batgirl was introduced (in the episode "The Last Patrol"), I would call it a (spiritual) sequel to the Adam West-Batman regarding the music, the campiness, the Bat-traps etc.

But I think that WB did a great job with the series - the animation was good, and I like that WB has used many (unknown) heroes from the Silver Age of comics.
